Welcome to the consultation website for land north of Maidstone Road in Swanley.

Consilium Land Limited would like to develop the land north of Maidstone Road to create a vibrant sustainable community of much-needed homes, shops, pathways, community gardens and open space.

The site is located north of Maidstone Road, Swanley and the A10. It is approximately 10.59 hectares in size and has been proposed in Sevenoaks District Council’s Draft Local Plan as a suitable location for a mixed-use development.

Proposals

The proposals aim to create a vibrant, sustainable neighbourhood including:

  • 277 homes, 50% of which will be affordable
  • A mix of 1,2,3 and 4 bedroom homes
  • Shops and commercial space
  • Walking and cycle pathways
  • Landscaping and play spaces, including community orchard, fruit and vegetable plots and tree-lined avenues
  • Parking provision
  • Highway improvements
